IIA Tanzania recently trained Roads Fund Audit Committee and Management in Zanzibar-Tanzania. The training covered among other things, Understanding the Control Environment and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Reporting Relationship of Management, Internal Audit, Board’s Audit Committee and the Board; Measuring Internal Audit Performance and an Effective Internal Audit Process.
The feedback from the Participants indicated that the training was very successful and here’s one the testimonies given by the participants, “I have learnt a lot of new things, it has indeed been an eye opener”, said one Audit committee member.
IIA Tanzania continues its efforts to empower and equip Audit Committees with knowledge and tools to enable them to effectively discharge their roles and responsibilities and add value to the organizations.
