The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Tanzania has recently rolled out a Workshop on Implementation of the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF).The workshop was held at Tanga Beach Resort in Tanga municipality.

IIA Tanzania has increasingly been recruiting more members and recently 14 members joined the Institute. These members are from CRDB,Quality Group Ltd, TAEC, Bahari Beach Hotel,Manyara DC and TANROADS.Join now and become a world class internal auditor!

IIA Tanzania recently trained Roads Fund Audit Committee and Management in Zanzibar-Tanzania. The training covered among other things, Understanding the Control Environment and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Reporting Relationship of Management, Internal Audit, Board’s Audit Committee and the Board; Measuring Internal Audit Performance and an Effective Internal Audit Process.

In its efforts to promote internal audit profession in Tanzania, the Institute of Internal Auditors Tanzania (IIA) recently held a capacity building workshop for more than 30 Chief and Senior Internal Auditors from Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar.

The Institute of Internal Auditors Tanzania a brain child of IIA global, organized a special workshop on understanding the Risk Based Internal Auditing and Audit Report Writing at Hilux Hotel in Morogoro Municipal on the last week of June 2014.

This was revealed by Mr .Emmanuel Johannes, the President of Institute of Internal Auditors Tanzania during the 4- day workshop on Internal Audit Quality Assessment at Tanga beach resort in the last week of July 2014.

IIA Tanzania has recently added 17 new members to its database. The members who recently joined IIA Tanzania are coming from Attorney General Chamber,Akiba Commercial bank,Immigration,RAHCO,African Barrick Gold,Lushoto District,

Financial Sector includes Banks, Microfinance institutions, SACCOS e.t.c.In the context our country banks are the key prayers in financial sector and they are highly affected by fraud due to the nature of its operations mostly known as Bank fraud.

Sometimes, the hardest part of obtaining a degree is figuring out what degree to pursue. Why would this be difficult? Put simply, this degree will require a large investment of time and money and will launch a lifelong career.
